The golf course impressively stretches across beautifully maintained grounds, offering stunning landscapes and a challenging layout. The historic building itself has character and charm, showcasing its rich history with unique architectural details.
Noise can be a nuisance. I had to switch rooms after a late-night delivery rattled my peace, and the presence of a rambunctious football team disrupted my quiet once again. The restaurant didn't quite match the hotel’s upscale vibe, featuring overpriced dishes that fell short, like the disappointing desserts that tasted pre-packaged. the decor seems tired and in need of an update—while the hotel's age adds charm, it also shows in the slightly worn furnishings throughout.

The absence of air conditioning made the room feel stifling!!! Wi-Fi was inconvenient. not only was it limited, but the cost felt excessive considering the lack of reliability!!!

The staff were welcoming and the breakfast options were plentiful and tasty. the room was not adequately cleaned upon arrival, and I faced delays during check-in. It's a decent place for a short getaway but there are definitely areas needing attention.

The facilities were great, especially the spa and swimming pool, which were both well-maintained and a joy to use. the junior suite was really big n comfy. breakfast was lovely, so much choice and the staff were really friendly. the gardens are pretty amazing too. loved the atmosphere around the place. perfect for a relaxing getaway.
had a bit of a wait for lunch and dinner menu was limited. wifi was a hassle since we had to register a credit card just for that.

Just a proper fit for a short stay in Ware with outstanding value. The spa was peaceful in the evening with barely anyone there. Try to get a reservation for dinner, as it can get noisy and crowded.

missingWrote a review on 31 Juluncomfortable temperature
The lack of air conditioning in the room proved uncomfortable, especially during warmer days when the only option was to crack open the window slightly. Noise from the flooring was bothersome, making nighttime movements loud enough to wake others. The location felt a bit too isolated, necessitating a drive for most off-site activities and meals, with taxi fares climbing over £50. Breakfast options were adequate but left some disappointment in quality, with cold items on the buffet and limited choices. Though the dining area was nice, the slow service at the restaurant impacted the overall experience.

The building is stunning, and the spa facilities are lovely. Our Prestige King Room was beautifully appointed, offering a great view of the golf course, making for a relaxing atmosphere. While the staff were exceptionally friendly and thoughtful, they did have a slow check-in, which could be improved. Dining at the Cast Iron Bar and Grill provided high-quality food, but the service was slow at times, requiring reminders for drinks.

Enjoyed a lovely stay surrounded by stunning grounds and magnificent architecture. The breakfast buffet offered good fruit options, but I wished for a greater variety in hot dishes. For a late-night bite, plan ahead as service halts at 11 PM. a nice escape with excellent surroundings.

Had a great time with friends! We played on the championship golf course and enjoyed a relaxing spa treatment. The leisure center was fantastic, especially the indoor pool. Just a heads up, the WiFi comes with a fee, and dinner could be hit or miss, but overall a fun stay!
